knots: An art form which has ancient roots in the pagan and later
Christian art of the Celts who were found all over Europe before the
Romans did their best to take over the world. It was used to decorate
many things and is found in ancient stone-work and metal-work. And is
well known for its use in embellishing scripture pages in the Book of
Kells and other such manuscripts. For examples of art by the Celts see Examples from the Book of Kells I have studied many knots by other other people, ancient and contemporary, Examples of my work: Paintings
